Chairman

I thought I'd let everyone know that my former roommate, the Chairman, will be living in Los Angeles and attending UCLA this coming fall. It looks like a very good gig for him since his brother is already living in So Cal and they can share an appartment, etc, etc. We should really try to get him to post his own updates now that he isn't in the PRC. I'll work on it.

Congratulations to the Chairman! I always knew he'd make us proud one day.

On anther note: isn't amusingly ironic that the act of taking down the "photograph" from the site also removed TEFKAMS' heartfelt (though somewhat difficult to interpret) post? Again, he's the only one whose posts get removed from this site with no warning.

Someone needs to get that guy some Prosac or something.

What's he going to do... change his name again?

oh, he's not deleted deleted. He's been drafted, if you know what I mean.

AHHHH!!!! I missed a TEFKAMS posting! That was the whole point of sticking the stupid thing up in the first place-- and I missed it! Heartfelt AND difficult to interpret... that's my favorite kind of post. That's my favorite kind of everything.

Why is "photograph" in scare quotes? Do you doubt the veracity of the image itself? Are you accusing me of faking a Janet Reno impersonation? or did you just mean "the photograph"?

. . . and whatever we get for TEFKAMS, I could use double.

Well, I'm forty pages into my master's report, and I'm not exactly certain when it's going to end. I hope soon. I don't need to write a book... yet.

Narrative hospitality in the metafictional structure of Philip Roth's _The Counterlife_.

Ah, yes. I remember you talking about your work on that book about this time last year.

This is deeply unfortunate... I'm not in LA anymore and the other Josh moves there. Ah, well.
