In America

I'm In America.
I'd like to get together with whoever can, which might mean making a trip to Arizona, Tyler, and/or D.C. Anybody in the mood? Please? Pretty please?

Sometime between Aug 6 - 16

Hey Steve,
I could probably make a trip up to Tyler and/or Plano (I have family in the Metroplex that I could see while I'm up there anyways), and of course you're welcome down in Austin if you want to visit the best of Texas.

Austin: Keep it Wierd!

Actually that could be pretty nice. Would you be interested in joining me/us not only in Tyler, but perhaps DC or 'zona, too?

Well, I'm already planning a trip up Chicago way to see Josh and Jordan, and I don't think I could do another long distance trip in August.

I would like to go to Austin.

Starting Aug 7 however I am in charge of a two week "Summer Immersion Program" at my school, which I found out yesterday has a grand total of one participant--an eighth grade girl.

Crikey.

Well, let me take this opportunity to renew the invitation to any of you to come down to Austin. I have a couch that folds into a bed and an extra key to my front door, so come down and enjoy Barton Springs, Town Lake, live music, hippies, breakfast tacos, and all the things that make Austin, well, Austin.

Coye, When are you going to be in Chicago? I will be there the weekend of August 26. How long is Josh there for? For some reason, I thought he was in Asia.

Steve, of course we'd like to have you come out this way. For me, it would be preferable if you come out here, that you stay as close to the first part of your time window as possible, because I have the largest exam of my life to date, to take on Aug. 16. Also, just a disclaimer, I will have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. You are looking at potentially coming at a time which is quiet for my job, so I'd entertain taking two days off if you came out this way, during the week.

Do not neglect the joys of the midwest, the site of former college glories and such. Sadly, like Strauss, I am preparing for the biggest exam of my life, which will prevent me from cross-country adventures, but if you come to Chicago, I would show up. With great joy.

So I'm thinking I'll try to see Adam at his wedding, and for this summer break I want to go to DC, see Andy Dave Brett Luke Emily Carey and whoever else of you are interested in making the trip.
