Dave and I have already begun negotiations into an arranged marriage with one (or both) of his boys. We reached an impasse when he insisted on a dowry, and I insisted on paying said dowry in actual sheep and goats, old testament style.
Both sides left the table, and no further talks are scheduled. Sources close to the discussions, however, report that both sides remain optimistic. A senior adviser to Dave's camp, speaking on condition of anonymity, pointed out that "In an era of increasing inflation, sheep is an asset class that doesn't lose its value. It's like gold, with wool."
