Boston reunion

Sunday, June 25th is Wheatie Annalisa Walker's wedding in Boston, which I am planning to attend. Would any of you Bostonians be able to put me up for Saturday and Sunday night? I would be very much obliged,

You couldn't talk her into having her wedding in Tyler?

I'd love to have you stay with us! Adam's going to hopefully stay here during that time too, so bring your party hat. I'll check with Sarah to be sure that the schedule is indeed open.

Is anybody staying into the following week? I'm going to be in town starting on Tuesday night, if I remember my flights right. I might be able to look into a flight change depending on how long people would be around post-wedding. My parents live south-southwest of the city by 45 minutes to an hour, but I'm guessing that they might be welcoming to my friends if Dave and Sarah are too busy. However, they do sound like a better option. I also might be able to coax my sister into putting somebody up if I asked really nicely. She lives in Natick which is a fair bit closer to the city.

I would like to stay longer if I can find a place to sleep. Boston could give me some good ideas, I think, for Tyler, apart from being too big.

I saw an alligator here yesterday. :-)
It was four or five feet long, lurking in a bog by the river. What a great place to live. hehe

I saw two and a half million bats here last week. In fact, I can go see 2.5 million bats at will, on any evening I decide to see 2.5 million bats. And they eat mosquitos. All two point five million of them eat mosquitos. What a great place to live, here in Bat City. haha

I saw a couple hundred camels today. I made them run around and stampede when I did a flyby. It was 113 today...what a great place to live, here in Baghdad.

I saw lightning streak across a big lake this weekend.

Ryan, if there is no need to get back to Tyler quickly since school is out for the summer, you would be welcome to join me at my parents once I get there. I'd have to give you the boot by the afternoon of July 1 though. I've got plans which aren't very conducive to hosting Traber men for the rest of the time that I am home.

I don't see how anyone could stay away from Tyler for a single moment more than they had to... frankly, I'm shocked.

I don't know. Relaxing at a lake and using it as a jump off point to go to the beach, Boston, or woods sounds appealing to me.

Ran into Denny H. at the pool today. It was great to see another Wheatie in the middle of Baghdad.

Ryan said...

Huh? Hah! You are talking about Dennis Hastert, I presume?

DM said...

yes

Denny Hastert in swimming trunks... terrifying, just terrifying.

You know, "Wheatie" is a really strange first name, especially for a girl. I hope that she goes by her middle name.

It would have been better if everyone started chanting *cannonball*
